Kahoru's Basic Light Pie Crust
1 Cup of THM Baking Blend
1 Large Egg
1/4 Cup of Butter or Coconut Oil
1 tbsp of THM Super Sweet Blend ( I prefer it sweeter so I usually use 2 tbsp )
1/4 Cup of Water
1 tsp of Salt
1 Mix all ingredients, put the dough in the pan and stretch it out from the middle. It makes a very thin crust and the dough is quiet wet so you won't be able to roll it out.
2 You can pre bake it at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes. I usually pre bake it for dessert pies but for savory pies such as quiche I don't.
I use this pie crust for pretty much all my quiche, dessert pies!
This recipe makes enough for one 9 inch round pan but it's a very thin crust since I like my crusts thin and crunchy rather than thick and doughy.
